PADI MSDT Internship at IDC Gili Islands

If you want to become a Master Scuba Diver Trainer you need to be certified to teach five PADI Specialty Courses and you need to have issued 25 PADI certifications.

It is therefore obvious that the more courses you are certified to teach the more quickly you will be able to issue the 25 cert's you need to have to become a Master Scuba Diver Trainer.

This is where the MSDT Course from IDC Center Oceans 5 comes in! In this course, Course Director Sander Buis will learn you how to teach the PADI specialties you choose from the large list we offer.

All that is left to become a Master Scuba Diver Trainer is to teach the PADI courses and issue 25 certifications, which will be easy now you can teach so many specialties!

PADI Specialty Instructor Training courses teach Open Water Scuba Instructors how to promote, organize and conduct PADI Specialty Diver courses. The advantage of learning how to teach specialties with a Course Director is that he will learn you many of the hints and tips that make conducting the specialty course fun and rewarding for you and for your future students.


How to Enroll in the Master Scuba Diver Trainer Program at IDC Resort Oceans 5?

The MSDT Program is a package of 5 specialty instructor training courses taught over a period of 5 days. You could do it right after our PADI IDC training and the Instructor Exam (IE). Once you have received your specialties teaching status you will be able to teach those specialties alongside the standard PADI program and courses. Once you have certified 25 students in any PADI course, you will be able to submit your MSDT application.

If you take our MSDT Program after your IDC with us, you have the opportunity to learn how to conduct your own PADI courses by team-teaching alongside our experienced Oceans 5 instructors for a certain amount of time.

The PADI MSDT Internship will give you 25 certification and 5 PADI Specialty Instructor ratings. The length of the program will be between the 4-6 weeks. The MSDT Internship candidates will assist experienced PADI Instructors and at the end of the course the candidates sign off the student. This way the MSDT candidates will get experience in conducting courses, scheduling, dealing with the local environment around the Gili Islands and work experience in a PADI 5 star Career Development Center.

Each year we see a growth in the amount of happy new dive instructors. Being a PADI Course Director has its challenges.
